Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Effective date: 16 July 2026
These terms govern your use of regionalink.com.au (the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by Aaron Gribben (ABN 86 927 801 601), a sole trader based in New South Wales, Australia, trading as RegionaLink ("RegionaLink", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. Questions: regionalink@gmail.com.
1. What RegionaLink is — and what it isn't
RegionaLink is an online venue that hosts job listings and worker profiles and facilitates introductions between working holiday makers and regional Australian employers. We are NOT an employer, recruitment agency or labour-hire provider, are not a party to any employment arrangement made through the platform, and do not supervise, direct or guarantee any work, worker, employer, job or hiring outcome. Any employment relationship is strictly between the worker and the employer.
2. Visas and the “88 days”
Badges such as "may count toward your 88 days" are indicative only and based on employer-provided information. Eligibility for a second or third Working Holiday visa is determined solely by the Department of Home Affairs and depends on the type of work performed and where it is performed. Always confirm eligibility with the Department of Home Affairs before relying on any listing. We accept no responsibility for visa outcomes.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Keep your login credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person or business.
4. Workers
Keep your profile truthful and current. When you register interest in a job, you consent to the employer who posted that job receiving your name and contact details (email, and phone if provided) so they can contact you. An employer can also access your resume, and approach you directly, by unlocking your profile — either by paying a one-off unlock fee or by using an unlock included in their plan. You can set your profile to inactive, remove your resume, or delete your account at any time. Never pay anyone to obtain a job through RegionaLink — if asked for payment, report it to us. Take sensible precautions: verify the business, get job details and pay in writing, and tell someone where you're going before travelling to a role.
5. Employers
You must provide a valid ABN, and verify it against the Australian Business Register before you can post a listing — your ABN must be registered and Active. This is a registration check only, not an endorsement, background check or safety check; we do not otherwise vet employers or workers. Use worker information obtained through RegionaLink solely to recruit for your own genuine roles; do not add workers to marketing lists, share, sell or publish their details or resumes, or use their information for any other purpose. Comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You are solely responsible for all employment obligations including the Fair Work Act, applicable awards, minimum pay, superannuation, workplace safety, and right-to-work/visa checks. Do not charge workers any fee in connection with a role.
6. Listings and content
Listings must be genuine, lawful and accurate and relate to real roles you intend to fill. No misleading, fraudulent or unlawfully discriminatory content. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display content you post (profiles, listings, resumes) to operate the platform. We may remove content, decline listings, or suspend accounts that breach these terms.
7. Payments, plans and refunds
Prices are in Australian dollars and are the total amount payable at the time of purchase. RegionaLink is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged on our fees and our receipts are not tax invoices for GST purposes. If we register for GST in future, we will update our pricing and these terms.
Workers use RegionaLink for free. For employers, posting jobs and receiving the contact details of workers who register interest is free. Additional paid options — for example unlocking a worker's resume and contact details, a Season Pass, a monthly plan, or boosting a listing — are described on our pricing page at the time of purchase, along with the price then applying. Some plans include a number of unlocks, and a first unlock may be provided at no charge; where an unlock is included in your plan or provided free, no fee is charged for it. The current price and any inclusions shown at checkout apply to your purchase.
Subscriptions (e.g. a monthly employer plan) can be cancelled anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no pro-rata refunds for partial periods. One-off purchases — contact unlocks, season passes and listing boosts — are non-refundable once the benefit has been delivered (e.g. once a worker's contact details or resume have been revealed, a pass activated, or a boost applied), except where a refund is required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees or rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Acceptable use
You must not: scrape, harvest or bulk-download profiles, listings or platform data; create fake accounts/listings or misrepresent who you are; interfere with the operation or security of the platform or probe it for vulnerabilities; use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law and without excluding rights under the Australian Consumer Law: we are not liable for the conduct, offers, work, payment or other dealings between workers and employers; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability in connection with the platform is limited, at our election, to resupplying the relevant service or to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or misuse the platform. You may close your account at any time.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we'll post the updated version with a new effective date and flag material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
